Tattoo Punks: The Fest offers two types of access: Tattoo Floor access and Gigs (live shows).

Tattoo Floor Access


Tattoo Floor tickets provide access to the tattooing and vendor areas during scheduled hours. The Tattoo Floor will be in the Street level venue and balcony

Gigs (Live Shows)
Tickets for live shows include access to the tattooing and vendor floors for that day. Gigs will take place in the lower level venue.

TATTOO PUNKS THE FEST

Tattoo Punks: The Fest brings together tattooing, live music, and independent vendors for a full weekend experience.

Tattooers from around the globe will be working all day Saturday and Sunday, alongside a curated selection of vendors. Whether you’re getting tattooed or exploring the space, there’s plenty to take in—from tintype photography and records to books, apparel, and other independent goods rooted in the culture.

The weekend begins Friday night with live music, celebrating International Tattoo Punks Day and marking the 11th anniversary of Tattoo Punks. Live performances continue Saturday and Sunday nights, alongside the ongoing tattooing and vendor floor throughout the weekend.

Live show tickets are sold separately and include access to the tattooing and vendor floors. Show capacity is limited and fills quickly each night

This inaugural lineup features bands from across the country, spanning multiple generations of punk. The selection brings together a range of styles and backgrounds across punk and hardcore.

Many of the bands include members of the Tattoo Punks community performing with their own groups. Throughout the weekend, you’ll see familiar faces both on stage and on the tattoo floor—bringing the event full circle in one shared space.

Tattoo Punks: The Fest brings together tattooers from across the globe, with artists traveling from Boston to Borneo coming together to celebrate. This inaugural lineup features a wide range of styles and backgrounds, with tattooers from shops and studios coming together as part of the Tattoo Punks community.

From ancient hand tap to American traditional and everything between, the floor showcases a wide range of tattooing styles. Across Saturday and Sunday, tattooers will be working throughout the space, creating a setting where different styles can be experienced side by side in real time.

You can book in advance with an artist, or walk up and choose from available designs.

Getting Tattooed at the Event

Do I need an appointment?

While this is a walk-up event, it is recommended that if you wish to be tattooed by a specific artist, you reach out to see if they are taking appointments for the weekend. Booking is handled on an individual basis by the artist themself. The organizers of the event cannot guarantee that you will be tattooed, based on your and the artist’s individual time constraints and availability. It is always a good idea to plan ahead. You can browse the full list of attending artists and find their contact info on Tattoo Punks: the Fest social media accounts. 

How do I book with an artist?

Reach out directly to the artist you are interested in getting tattooed by. Booking is done individually and at the artist’s discretion.

Are deposits required?

Most artists take deposits, in the form of a direct payment, in order to secure your spot in their schedule. However, all aspects of booking, including deposits, are done at the individual artist’s discretion. How can I pay?

Cash is king. Payment is accepted by the artist themself on a direct basis. Some artists take electronic payments, such as Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, Zelle, and may even take a credit card. However, cash is king. There are ATMs on site for your convenience. 

Can I get tattooed at the event?

Yes!

You will need to bring state-issued, valid (non-expired), identification in order to be tattooed.

You will be required to complete a waiver prior to getting tattooed.

We recommend that you eat a good meal and stay well hydrated in the lead up to your tattoo, and that you wear comfortable clothing. If you are unsure about how else to prepare for your tattoo, ask your artist.

Can I bring my own design?

You can, but the best option is to choose from one of the thousands of pieces of original, pre-drawn flash that the artists will have with them. Bringing your own design does not guarantee that an artist will tattoo it at the event. If you have any questions, reach out to your artist.
